It holds the most precious and valuable historical materials of Bangladesh.
o    Saju Art Gallery - located in Gulshan suburbs of Dhaka. For more than three decades, the gallery has been a favorite of artists to display and exhibit their artworks. Tha Saju Art gallery is owned by Ramiz Ahmed Chowdhury Saju, who is now a well respected personality among artists, art dealers and the critics. The Saju Art Gallery is best visited any time of the year.
o    Drik Gallery - a very well-known establishment in Bangladesh for its stylish layout and its beautiful exhibited artworks. Thousands of visitors come here each year to witness different art displays. The gallery is much dedicated to photography and also other arts like painting and sculpture. Drik Gallery also opens various workshops throughout the year prior to the subject of the exhibit.
o    Chitrak Gallery - located in Dhanmondi, a residential area in Dhaka. Different art exhibitions with different themes are held here, consequently so the visitors can always have something new. There are also various events that the gallery organizes such as charitable events where they promote to earn funds for schools and to earn money for feeding programs.

Bangladesh is a small country in South Asia. Though it is a small country in size, it has many tourists spots like sundarban - the largest mangrove forests in the world; cox's bazar - the largest unbroken sandy sea beach in the world; kuakata - only one sea beach in South Asia from where sunset and sunrise can be enjoyed; many mosques, temples and more and more naturally beautiful and historical places.


Now we come back to sundarban. Sundarban is recognized as World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997. We can think that sundarban is another world where all kinds of wild lives and unknown species are living. If you visit this place, you can see their dynamic lifestyle. An area of 5770 kilometers of land and water is covered the Sundarban.
If you want to visit this area, you have to come in Khulna from anywhere. From Khulna you have to come at Mongla. From Mongla you can go to sundarban by launch or speed boat. Then you can enter into the forest. During visiting and moving this area, you have to follow some rules and regulations. I can give you some of them:
·         You can not cut or break any branch of trees.
·         You can not make any fire in the forest.
·         You can not go anywhere alone.
·         You can not beat or throw any kind of stone towards birds or any wild and so on.
When you first enter into the forest, you can see same trees more and more. These trees are called "Sundori". From this word "Sundarban" name has come. Without sundori, there are also abundance of gewa, goran and keora all of which prominently throughout the area. On that spot there is a tall tower. Going on the top of this tower you can see the whole area of forest at a glance. You can not see easily the wilds here. To see them you have to go to the deepest like Karomjol, Hiron point, Katka, Dublar chor, Tin kona dip.
Katka is famous for diferent kinds of birds, deer, tigers. There is a beautiful sea beach here.
Hironpont is the most famous place of sundarban. Hironpoint is called the state of heritage site. In Bangladesh tigers are called "Royal Bengal Tiger". If you go to Hironpoint, you must see tigers. Besides you can enjoy running deer, flying birds, swimming crocodiles, and so many wilds. There are two more beautiful place in Hironpoint - Kochikhali and Mandarbaria.
Dublar chor is the best place for catching fishes. Here you can see deer are grazing. Tin kona dip is the place for deer and tigers.

Interesting Destinations and Places to Visit in Chittagong, Bangladesh

 

Chittagong is Bangladesh's second largest city. It is a city gifted with numerous attraction sites and destinations. Though Chittagong has one of the busiest seaports, the city maintains its natural quietness and tranquility. Here lie a big number of tombs, religious temples, colorful hills and the most amazing beaches in the world. Here, one can experience and enjoy the natural beauty and gifts of nature.
There are numerous places that are best visited in Chittagong. Each with its unique beauty and panorama, people loves to travel around. Here are some of the interesting places Chittagong has to offer:
o Tomb of Sultan Bayazid Botani - located on a small hill in Narisabad, about 6 kilometers north of Chittagong town. The shrine attracts a vast number of visitors and travelers from all over the world. At the foot of the hill is found a large tank containing hundreds of tortoises. It is believed that these animals carry the evil spirits of the dead, also called the "genii". These spirits were believed to cast into tortoises because they incurred the fury of a great saint who visited the place about 1100 years ago.
o World War II Cemetery - is a well-preserved cemetery in an attractive and tranquil place within Chittagong. Here is where the bodies of over 700 soldiers rest. These soldiers came from various parts of the globe including Britain, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Africa, India, Japan, Netherlands and Myanmar. They came to Bangladesh during the Second World War.
o Shrine of Shah Amanat - is another place for religious purposes, located at the center of Chittagong. Hundreds of people come to visit here everyday to pay respect to the Saint Shah Amanat's memory.
o Foy's Lake - also known as the "Pahartali Lake" is located 8 kilometers away from Chittagong. Foy's Lake is a perfect place for picnics. The place has a very amazing view which is visited by thousands of tourists every week.
o Sitakunda - located about 37 kilometers from Chittaging. Here, one can find one of the most well-known temples in Bangladesh. The famous Chandranath temple and the Buddha temple are found here. There is also a salt water spring located about 5 kilometers north os Sitakuna, which is also known as the Labanakhya.
o Chandraghona: located 48 kilometer from Chittagong, on the Kaptai Road. This place is where one of the leading paper mills in Asia is found. Not too far from the paper mill is a rayon factory which produces artificial fibers made from bamboo.
